Psychedelic-Assisted Psychotherapy, Clinical Facilitation, and Consultation
I work with individuals, therapists, and organizations at the intersection of psychotherapy, psychedelics, trauma, addiction, and harm reduction.
My clinical work includes ketamine-assisted psychotherapy in Connecticut and New York, licensed psilocybin facilitation in Colorado, psychedelic preparation and integration, and psychotherapy. I also provide clinical consultation to therapists and consultation to practices, clinics, psychedelic service organizations, harm reduction organizations, and professional training programs.
My approach is relational, experiential, and grounded in the understanding that psychedelic experiences do not occur in isolation. Relationship, context, embodiment, expectations, personal history, and what happens afterward all matter.
Clinical Services
Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy
I provide ketamine-assisted psychotherapy as an intentional psychotherapeutic process that includes preparation, support during sessions, and integration afterward.
My approach is individualized and may include inward attention, conversation, mindfulness, somatic awareness, and opportunities to explore what is emerging in the moment.
Available in Connecticut and New York.
Psilocybin Facilitation
I am licensed in Colorado as a Natural Medicine Clinical Facilitator and provide psilocybin facilitation within Colorado's regulated natural medicine framework.
The process includes preparation, support during the administration session at a licensed healing center, and integration afterward. I place particular emphasis on relationship, pacing, embodied awareness, and allowing experiences to unfold without unnecessarily directing or interpreting them.
Available in Colorado.
Psychedelic Preparation and Integration
Psychedelic experiences can be meaningful, confusing, difficult, disappointing, transformative, destabilizing, or some combination of these.
I provide preparation and integration support for people considering or navigating psychedelic experiences in a variety of legal and clinical contexts. My approach emphasizes realistic expectations, harm reduction, curiosity, and making room for complexity rather than assuming that every experience carries a hidden lesson or must lead to transformation.
Psychotherapy
My psychotherapy practice is relational, experiential, and informed by psychodynamic, somatic, mindfulness-based, trauma-focused, compassion-focused, and harm reduction approaches.
Areas of particular focus include complex trauma and attachment, depression and anxiety, substance use and other difficult behavioral patterns, LGBTQ+ concerns and identity, individual and couples relationship work, life transitions, helping professionals and clinicians, and psychedelic experiences.
Consultation
Consultation for Therapists
I provide clinical consultation for therapists and other mental health professionals working with psychedelic experiences, ketamine-assisted psychotherapy, trauma, addiction, harm reduction, and related areas of practice.
Consultation may focus on a particular case, therapist reactions and relational dynamics, difficult or destabilizing psychedelic experiences, ethical and scope-of-practice questions, or the development of a broader approach to psychedelic-related clinical work.
I also have extensive experience providing support to therapists and other helping professionals and understand the importance of discretion when personal rather than professional concerns are emerging.
Organizational Consulting
I consult with psychotherapy practices, clinics, psychedelic service organizations, harm reduction organizations, and professional training programs developing or refining psychedelic-related clinical and educational services.
My work includes clinical program development, preparation and integration models, harm reduction-informed service design, training and curriculum development, clinician and facilitator education, participant materials, and review of clinical protocols and educational content.
I am particularly interested in helping organizations bridge the gap between an appealing conceptual model and what practitioners actually need in order to work thoughtfully, relationally, and safely.
A Grounded Approach to Psychedelic Work
Psychedelic experiences can create important possibilities, but I do not assume that intensity equals therapeutic value or that every experience is inherently transformative.
My work is guided by attention to the person rather than allegiance to a particular medicine or model. I am interested in what an experience opens, what it complicates, what remains unresolved, and how it fits within the larger context of someone's life.
Across my clinical and consulting work, I bring particular attention to relationship, embodiment, harm reduction, trauma, addiction, and the ways that practitioner expectations can shape psychedelic experiences.
